Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2013 Lincoln MKT, we're gonna be showing you how to install the Curt trailer hitch receiver. But before we do that, why don't we check it out and make sure that this is the right hitch for you. So first impression of the hitch on the back of our MKT, I think it looks all right, you know, even though it is completely visible, it isn't gonna stick out too much. With that said, I have installed the other available hitch for the MKT, the Draw-Tite hitch. And even though they are very similar in terms of the design, I think what sets the Curt apart is the quality of construction. more

Corner: Hey guys, Corner here at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at a draw tite class three trailer hitch for our 2016 Lincoln MKT. The draw-tite trailer hitch is an excellent option for out MKT here. If we take a look at the rear of the vehicle here, we can see both the cross tube and the receiver tube will be visible from behind the vehicle. However, draw tite has a really nice powder coating, so it shouldn't take away from the overall look of the vehicle too much. Now, with this class three hitch and two inch receiver tube opening, we're going to be able to use this to tow small, to medium duty trailers, as well as use bike racks and cargo carriers. more

Conner: Hey guys, Conner here at etrailer.com. And today we're going to be taking a look at the Curt custom class three trailer hitch for our 2016 Lincoln MKT. As we can see here with our Curt class three trailer hitch, we are able to see both the receiver tube and the crossbar from behind the vehicle. However, the Curt hitch has a really nice finish, so it's not going to take away too much from the look of the vehicle. And as we can see here, also, the receiver tube portion is recessed behind the bumper here a few inches. So it's not going to create any issues with our bike racks, cargo carriers, or any other things we want to do with the hitch.Now, in addition to bike racks and cargo carriers, we can also use our Curt class three hitch to tow small to light, medium duty trailers. more

Today on our 2015 Lincoln MKT, we'll be doing a review and installation of the Curt Custom Fit Class 3 Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number C13110. This is what your Curt hitch will look like once it's installed. It's going to have that nice round bar and sleek look and design on the back on your vehicle, with only the round bar being exposed. Your mounting brackets will actually sit up back behind the bumper and attach to the frame. As you can see, it's going to have a fully welded construction and have that nice black powder coat finish to help prevent any kind of rust and corrosion. You're going to have those big chain tie-downs on either side. We're going to have that 5/8 inch pin hole going straight through the center, as well as that 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube and opening, offering a 400 pound tongue weight capacity and a 4,000 pound towing capacity. Now we'll go ahead and give you a few measurements to assist you in selecting from ball mounts, bike racks, and cargo carriers. more

Today on our 2015 Lincoln MKT, we're going to be doing a review and an installation of the Hidden Hitch Custom Fit Class 3 Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 87571. Now this is the way your hitch is going to look like once it's installed. It's going to have that nice, sleek round bar coming across the bottom and this is going to be the only part that's going to be visible. You won't see the mounting brackets up above the exhaust. It's also going to be a fully welded construction and design, offering your big chain tie-downs on both sides, your 5/8 inch pinhole, as well as a J-pin stabilization hole, which is going to be the 1/2 inch pinhole here, part number 63201. Today on our 2010 Lincoln MKT, we're going to review and install Hidden Hitch, class 3, two inch receiver tube hitch, part number 87571. Here's what our hitch is going to look like once installed. Our hitch is a nice, stylish round cross tube and a fully welded steel construction with a really nice black powder coated finish. On each side of our receiver tube is going to be our chain hold down and this is our class 3, two inch by two inch receiver tube capable of up to four hundred pounds of tongue weight and four thousand pound tow capacity. Next, I'll give you a couple measurements to assist you with selecting accessories for your new hitch. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost edge of the bumper is six inches. From the top of the receiver tube opening down to the ground is thirteen and a half inches. more

To the top of the receiver tube opening down to the ground is 13 and a half inches. more
